Who we are
Meet Your Web Manager is a brand of comBEny LLC (“we”, “us”). We build and look after websites for small businesses. This policy covers meetyourwebmanager.com and the services we provide.
Questions about privacy go to [email protected]. A real person reads every message.
What we collect
What you send us. When you use the contact form or email us: your name, email address, the subject and your message. If you become a client: your business details, the information needed to invoice you, and anything you share so we can build or manage your website.
What your browser sends. Like every website, ours receives technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you visit and the page that sent you here. Our security and performance services and our analytics tool (only when allowed, see Cookies) receive this too.
What we do not collect. We do not ask for sensitive information such as health, financial account or government ID details, and we ask you not to send passwords through the form.
How we use it
- To answer your message and talk about your project.
- To provide, invoice and support the services you buy from us.
- To keep the site secure and free of spam.
- To understand, in aggregate, how the site is used so we can improve it.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, we do not share it for targeted advertising, we do not use it to make automated decisions about you, and we do not use it to train artificial intelligence models.
Cookies and similar technologies
Necessary: cookies that remember your consent choices and that our security services use to protect forms and pages.
Preferences: your choice of light or dark theme is stored in your own browser (local storage) and never sent to us.
Statistics: Google Analytics, through Google Site Kit, helps us see which pages are useful. It runs according to the choices in our cookie banner.
You can change your choices at any time on Your Privacy Choices. Our site does not currently respond differently to browser “Do Not Track” signals.
Who helps us
We share information only with service providers that help us run the site and our business, under their own privacy terms, and only as needed for the purposes above:
- Cloudflare for content delivery, security, the Turnstile spam check on our form, and privacy-friendly web analytics.
- Google for analytics (Google Analytics via Site Kit) and, if you use the language switcher, Google Translate.
- Automattic (Akismet) to check form messages for spam.
- Our hosting and email delivery providers, which store the site and deliver our emails.
- Font and icon services (Fontshare, unpkg) that serve the typefaces and icons on this site and receive your IP address when they load.
- Payment and accounting providers when you pay an invoice. We do not store full card numbers.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a sale or reorganization of our business.
When we manage your website
If you are a client, we may have access to personal information that your own website collects (for example, messages sent through your contact form). We use it only to provide our services to you, following your instructions and our agreement, and we keep it confidential.
You stay responsible for your website’s own privacy policy and for having a lawful basis to collect that information. We are happy to help you keep your policy accurate.
How long we keep it
Form messages and emails: as long as needed to reply and follow up, and up to three years for our records. Client and billing records: for the length of our work together and as long as tax and accounting rules require afterwards. Analytics data: for the retention period set in Google Analytics. Security logs: for a short period set by our providers.
How we protect it
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), keep access limited to the people who need it, keep software up to date and use reputable providers. No method of storing or sending information is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live (for example California, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Virginia and other states with privacy laws), you may have the right to know what we hold about you, to get a copy, to correct it, to delete it, and to opt out of the sale of personal information or targeted advertising. We do not sell or share for targeted advertising, but we honor these requests from anyone wherever we reasonably can.
To make a request, email [email protected]. We will confirm your request, may ask for details to verify it is you, and will respond within 45 days. You may use an authorized agent. We will not treat you differently for making a request.
If we decline your request, you can appeal by replying to our decision with the word “Appeal”. If you are not satisfied with the result of the appeal, you can contact your state attorney general.
Children
This site and our services are for businesses and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Where information is processed
We are a United States company. We and our providers may process information in the United States and in other countries where we or they operate. Wherever it is processed, we protect it as described in this policy.
Changes to this policy
We will post any changes on this page and update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we will also tell clients by email.
